Inspired by alumni, Farid Kamil aims for Master's and beyond
13 Jan - Farid Kamil recently revealed that he will be pursuing a Master's degree soon.
The actor, who spoke to the media about his 2025 plans, said that he will be furthering his studies at the Universiti Malaya, though declined to reveal the course he will be taking.
"I won't tell you for the time being since it's still in the process. If everything goes well, I would like to continue with a PhD next," he said.
Farid said that he was inspired to do so after attending a gathering of 100 UiTM alumni prior, whom he said mostly has at least a Master's degree and some, a doctorate.
"Then there's me, with my Bachelor's degree," he said, adding that he even had to decline a lecturer position at a private university earlier as he doesn't have the best qualification to be teaching others.
It is noted that Farid holds a Bachelor's degree in Creative Technology.
