Inez Leong finishes first marathon since giving birth
14 Feb – Inez Leong is elated to be able to finish a full marathon for the first time since giving birth to daughter Amber.
The model and fitness coach, who finished her run as part of the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon in three hours and 57 minutes, stated that she is satisfied with the result and thinks that she did better than in previous runs.
"I used to rush, but now I kept the pace. I only sprinted when I was close to the finish line," she said.
Asked if husband, TVB actor Tony Leung said anything to her before he travelled to Brazil for his new travel show, Inez said that the actor cheered her up before the run.
"If not for the fact that he had to go to Brazil, I would have dragged him here to join. I suspect he went there to avoid it," she said with a cheeky smile.
Inez, who tied the knot with Tony in July 2021, welcomed baby Amber in December the same year.
