If your home is beginning to feel a little blah, add a jolt of maximalist flair—and not to mention fun!— to your space with IKEA's latest drop. To celebrate its 80th anniversary, IKEA has been rolling out iconic vintage pieces from the brand’s archives, reimagined in various perky colors that will bat away our winter blues.

The Nytillverkad collection, which debuted last April, became an instant hit thanks to coveted items like the stackable Scandi-style Domsten stools from the 1970s (updated with vibrant orange, green, or lilac legs) and a tabletop showstopper: the Tuvkornell candle holder set from 1982. Now for the sixth and final edition of its anniversary collection, which hit shelves this month, IKEA released a range of standout pieces, including chairs from the '60s, '70s, and '80s, customizable shelving, playful prints, and curvy vases (perfect to satiate our current obsession with squiggly shapes).

"Simply adding one piece from this collection will make a statement, with items that can also change form and color to fit each individual home," said Karin Gustavsson, creative leader of the Nytillverkad collection, noting that a common thread in the series is that all the items evoke a sense of joy.

From the 50 pieces currently available, here are the ones you won’t stop thinking about.

Those who love to switch up their space will be obsessed with the popular Byakorre opening shelving unit. Initially released in 1985, the reversible shelves are white on one side and gray on the other. The shelf edges are different colors (blue, green, yellow, and red), allowing customers to personalize their space. The allure was apparently a little too tempting, as the unit had already sold out online (but don't worry, we found similar alternatives below).

Occasionally, you find a stylish and affordable piece that everyone swears costs a fortune. The Guttane side table and coffee table check off those boxes. Originally released in 1963, the chic, midcentury tables are made using solid oak legs and oak veneer tops. But it’s their timeless and functional design—the little ledge prevents AirPods or your kid’s stray crayons from slipping over the edge—that make them a classic.

It’s not just the bigger furniture pieces that are receiving buzz. Playful decor, like the voluminous Källarhals vase in yellow and orange, is a fan favorite.

Originally designed for the children’s department in yellow and green in 1997, the graphic, popcorn-inspired pattern by designer Anna Efverlund takes a sophisticated turn in black and white. You can find it today on IKEA's bed linens, pre-cut fabrics, and cushion covers.

Grab one of these vintage IKEA bestsellers before they’re gone. In case you’re too late though, we rounded up a selection of finds from other brands that bear an uncanny resemblance to the brand's reissued collection.
