ICYMI, Brittany Mahomes Convinced Post Malone to Switch Into a Chiefs Jacket Mid-Performance

After nabbing the Vince Lombardi trophy and winning their third (!!) Super Bowl title in five seasons, the Chiefs attended a well-deserved after-party at XS Nightclub for an iconic night that included performances by The Chainsmokers, Marshmello, and Post Malone—the latter of which became a full-on Chiefs fan for the night after being convinced by quarterback Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany Mahomes to switch into a jacket in honor of the winning team.

At one point during the after-party, as the musician was wrapping up a song, Brittany made a motion for him to remove his Dallas Cowboys bomber jacket in favor of a Chiefs one instead, according to fan footage shared on Twitter X.

Posty seemed to take things in stride and played along as he looked around and held up a single finger as if to say he would wear the jacket for one song only. Brittany then began taking the celeb's original blue jacket off and helped him get into a new red one.

At the club, fans reacted to the iconic moment and chated Brittany's name. Meanwhile, online, people gushed over both Brittany and Post Malone and commented on how much of a good sport the musician seemed to be.

Super Bowl win aside, Brittany has had a lot to celebrate as of late. Just a few days back, on February 8, she was named a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue rookie and is set to be featured in the outlet's 60th anniversary issue, which hits shelves in May.

In its announcement video for the campaign, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's editor-in-chief MJ Daywrote, “Brittany emerges as the epitome of a modern-day powerhouse. Founder of the world’s first-ever dedicated stadium for women’s sports, Brittany’s journey has surpassed all expectations, inspiring others with her tenacity and unyielding determination. We are proud to welcome her to the SI Swimsuit family where she will undoubtedly continue to empower women worldwide.”

“I’m truly just so humbled and still in disbelief,” Brittany gushed about the feature to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. “As a girl from Tyler, Texas, who only really knew sports, never in a million years did I think I’d be in [the SI Swimsuit Issue]. I’m just so grateful for this opportunity.”

Love this era for her!
