Ibnor Riza diagnosed with lymphoma
7 Mar – 1980s balladeer Ibnor Riza recently revealed that he has been diagnosed with Lymphoma, a cancer of the lymph system, a month after he was first hospitalised.
The "Mimpi Yang Tak Sudah" singer, who shared the news via video from his ward at the Port Dickson Hospital, shared that he will be transferred to Seremban's Tuanku Ja'afar Hospital, and broke down as he revealed the diagnosis.
"I have lymphoma and I will begin my chemotherapy tomorrow. Please pray for me. Thank you, everybody," he added.
Ibnor was originally treated at the hospital for a swelling in his neck, which was diagnosed as Vocal Cord Palsy. The condition made it difficult for the actor to speak let alone sing.
Prior to the diagnosis, the 62-year-old singer is known to be suffering from diabetes, hypertension, and several other ailments.
