Huang Xiaoming slams rumour linking him to actress Hani Kezi
27 Feb – Huang Xiaoming recently expressed his anger over rumours that he has been cheating on wife Angelababy with Uyghur actress Hani Kezi.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor who has been staying in Chengdu following the pandemic after filming in the area since last year, reposted an official statement released by his wife's company about the rumours, which condemned those who maligned their artiste.
He wrote, "From the end of 2019 to the present, I have been filming in Chengdu with the crew, and has been isolating myself at the hotel independently following the pandemic. I have been watching the progress of the pandemic during this period of time, hoping to help at the front lines of the pandemic."
"I never expected that this piece of rumour would occupy public resources. I feel helpless and sorry for it. I hope that the majority of netizens would not believe the rumours and pay more attention instead to the pandemic. Hope we will get through the difficulties soon," he added.
Hani Kezi first attracted attention back in 2018 when she performed the Yimeng Dunhuang dance on the TV programme, "The Chinese Youth", earning praises from many for her beauty and graceful movements. She had since been signed with Angelababy's studio.
