Huang Xiaoming excited about CNY with son

26 Jan - Huang Xiaoming just can't wait to celebrate the Lunar New Year this year, especially now that he is a father to his first son, nicknamed Xiao Haimian (Little Sponge).

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who recently held his Tissot promotional shoot in Hong Kong to be closer to his wife, stated that it was hard for him to describe his feeling of entering fatherhood.

"It's a very special and indescribable feeling. It would be my very first Lunar New Year with my son," he enthused.

Huang stated that he is looking forward to having the traditional Lunar New Year dumplings.

"It is a tradition to eat dumplings on Lunar New Year in [my hometown] Qingdao. If you eat one that has a date or a gold coin in it, you will have a good fortune and prosperity in the New Year," he shared.

On the other hand, Huang stated that he is grateful to Tissot for moving their ad shoot to Hong Kong for him.

"I became the brand's first Asian male ambassador in 2009. The same year, I won Most Popular Actor at the awards. After eight years of cooperation, this year I am still with Tissot and have also become a father," he said.
