Hong Kong pop star Aaron Kwok confirmed the birth of his child on Friday (22 September) in a Weibo post.

“Happy, amazed, grateful! We three!”, wrote the 51-year-old singer and actor in Chinese in the post, which was accompanied by a photo of a baby’s hand holding someone’s fingers. The baby is rumoured to be a girl, although Kwok has yet to confirm this.

The couple are said to have quietly welcomed the birth of their child earlier this month. Kwok’s wife Moka Fang reportedly gave birth to their first baby on 1 September at the Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital, accompanied by the Cantopop king himself.

In April this year, Kwok married his model girlfriend Fang, 29. Rumours about whether the couple was expecting soon circulated. Fang also appeared to have a baby bump in some photos.
