Hoffman Cheng ties the knot
9 Dec – After four years of being in a relationship, TVB actor and "The Voice of Stars" alumnus, Hoffman Cheng recently tied the knot with his girlfriend, Christy.
As reported on Wenweipo, on the evening of 6 December, the newly Mr. and Mrs. Cheng held a 40-table wedding banquet, which was also attended by several celebrity friends including Sammy Leung, Kenneth Ma, Evergreen Mak, Sam Lee and Sharon Chan.
However, his "The Voice of Stars" friends were a no-show, as they had to rehearse for the Tung Wah Charity Show at the time.
Hoffman revealed that he proposed to Christy while they were on a pre-planned bus ride, to commemorate the time they began their relationship the same way.
"On that special day, I invited all my friends to make it out like they were there by coincidence. Then I gave my wife the huge surprise," the actor enthused.
Hoffman also expressed his gratitude to Christy for handling the wedding preparation without him, saying, "We didn't get to enjoy the process of planning the wedding together because of my hectic schedule, and I do feel a little regretful. But I really want to thank my wife for understanding. I will take good care of her in the future!"
