Hijiri Kawahira to graduate from HKT48 in early 2025
20 Dec - Hijiri Kawahira is set to graduate from HKT48 in 2025.
The news was confirmed by HKT48 via their official X account, writing, "Hijiri Kawahira has announced her graduation. Her graduation date will be 22 March 2025. Thank you for your continued support until the end."
The singer also revealed that she decided to depart from the group to pursue her dream of becoming a voice actress, saying that she has been attending a voice acting school for the past two years.
"Turning 20, I felt that if I want to go on this path, this is the time to do so," she expressed.
Hailing from Okinawa, Hijiri, who joined the group in 2018, became a full member of the group in 2021 with Team KIV before transferring to Team H the next year.
