Dear Netflix, if you’re reading this, that means you’re just like us and you one hundred percent want more episodes of XO, Kitty. And if you aren’t Netflix and reading this, then hopefully we can provide some major answers for you. Of course, like so many of our favorite shows, we’re hoping it can make its big return. Plus, who wouldn’t want some more of the To All the Boys universe on our TV screens? But the biggest question right now is if we’ll get to see more of Kitty’s journey. So is XO, Kitty coming back for season 2?
The short answer is: YES! The show was renewed on June 14, 2023 with the cast announcing the news through a cute video that had us absolutely freaking out as much as Anna Cathcart was over the big reveal.
Considering how big of a hit the show was since it originally came out, it's not too much of a surprise. And we definitely need to know what happens next, so this is a huge win!
What would season 2 be about?
Well, Kitty is on her way back to America, which is not great. But who is on her flight? None other than Min Ho, who decides that a multi-hour flight back to America is the right time to reveal that he is in love with her. Oh yeah, and Kitty also found out that her mom had another first love. So basically, she better find a way to get back to Korea or else so she can figure this all out.
When would XO, Kitty season 2 come out?
Considering the fact that star Anna Cathcart is currently in school, ideally it would start filming over the summer for a big return next year. There's also the current ongoing Writers Guild of America strike going on, which means new scripts won't be worked on until they get a deal. So basically, it's going to be a bit of a wait, but we're okay with that now that we know that more is definitely coming!
