Here's a Stacked List of June 2024 Holidays and Observances
There's so much to love about the month of June. The weather is warm enough for all sorts of fun outdoor activities and summer break for the kids is just getting started. In between all the trips to the beach, summer beach reads, and cookouts in the backyard, there are many June holidays and observances worth celebrating and honoring.
For starters, there's Father's Day, Juneteenth, and Eid al-Adha. But June is also known as Pride Month, which is the perfect time to show off your LGBTQ+ pride or allyship. June also has many quirky national days that are fun to celebrate with family and friends, including National Egg Day, National Doughnut Day, National Running Day, and Swim a Lap Day (the perfect excuse to order a new summer swimsuit).
Monthly observances in June beyond Pride include (but are not limited to): Migraine and Headache Awareness Month, Home Ownership Month, DJ Month, Safety Month, African American Music Appreciation Month, Dairy Month, Candy Month (don't tell the kids!), Aquarium Month, Adopt a Cat Month, Caribbean-American Heritage Month, and Portuguese Heritage Month.
