Harissa Adlynn spends New Year in Jordan on humanitarian mission
3 Jan - Instead of celebrating New Year's Eve with countdown fireworks, Harissa Adlynn chose to welcome 2025 by helping out with a humanitarian mission in Jordan.
The actress recently revealed that she was in the country to help out Malaysian Humanitarian Aid and Relief (MAHAR) in preparing basic necessities for children and families that will be sent to Palestine via Jordan.
"The new year is not just a celebration, but a chance for us to think about the real meaning of humanity. It's sad not to be with family at this time, but I believe that it is more meaningful to be here," she said.
The "Dedaun Hijau Di Angin Lalu" actress said that she is thankful to be a minor part of the effort and realised that every person has their role to play in the bigger picture.
"I hope Malaysians will continue to express solidarity with Palestine," she said.
Harissa added that she will be staying in Jordan for a week before returning to Malaysia.
