Hana Kuk says joining Voice Entertainment is a blessing

5 Jan – As one of the big winners at the 2017 JSG Awards, Hana Kuk admitted that she is grateful to her record label, The Voice Entertainment Group and boss Herman Ho for giving her the opportunity to shine.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who appeared at the event recently won two Gold Songs awards for her songs, "Forget Myself" and "Waiting for a Lifetime", the Best Female Performance award, and also the Bronze Prize for Best Duet for her collaboration with Vincent Wong.

"In just one year after joining the company, everything went smoothly. I am very lucky indeed," she said.

Jinny admitted that she was so moved by the recognition that she had to swallow her tears in order to enable her to give her speech at the event.

When asked if this means that she is now replacing Jinny Ng as the top star of the company, Hana responded, "It's not the same. Jinny will always be Jinny, and I am me. Everyone is unique in their own way."

As to whether she is worried that Jinny will regain her status back when she returns, Hana responded, "I won't worry about that. Winning an award is just a bonus."
