Hana Kuk didn't expect to win Most Popular Female Singer

23 Jan – Hong Kong singer Hana Kuk recently admitted that she was most surprised to win Most Popular Female Singer at the recently held JSG Awards Presentation.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who spoke about her big victory at the awards, stated that she never thought that she would win the category so early in her career.

"Now that we're entering the New Year, we need a fresh start," she said, adding that she plans to celebrate her victory with her music team soon.

When mentioned that her role as the "Voice Entertainment" star is justified now that she has won the coveted award, Hana responded, "Don't say that!"

On the other hand, when asked to address rumours that her company planned for her to win the accolade to support her, Hana said that she is not clear about the whole rumour.

"You should ask the company about it," she said.
