2016 has been a year of extremes, and Hollywood’s annual Halloween outfitting display did that sentiment justice.
Some celebrities wore complex prosthetics, others made political statements and others still opted to dress up as the latest film franchise or internet meme. Hallo-weekend 2016 is officially in the grave, but reflecting on the celebrities who brought their costuming A-game can last all year long (or at least for a few more days). To help catch up on all the All Hallows’ Eve extravagance, we’ve rounded up the best and most extreme costumes from Halloween night.
Beyonce and Jay Z put themselves in boxes as “Black Barbie” and “Black Ken,” and posed for a photoshoot with Blue Ivy window-shopping in a Barbie leather jacket.
Lena Dunham dressed as a “Grabbed Pussy,” referencing Donald Trump’s now famous line from the leaked 2005 “Access Hollywood” tape.
Josh Gad also went political by dressing as Ken Bone. His caption implies that he lost a bet, and includes the hashtag #IAmAshamedOfHowMuchILookLikeHim.
Noted queen of Halloween Heidi Klum was a model of narcissism with her costume… six Heidi Klums.
Justin Timberlake pulled double-duty dressing up and promoting his upcoming film “Trolls” with the help of his wife Jessica Biel and son Silas.
Alec Baldwin and co. suited up as the Incredibles family. Still, his three-year-old daughter Carmen wore a tiara and bright pink shoes, suggesting that a quick change fit for a princess likely followed the photoshoot.
Lindsay Lohan posted an Instagram that implied her costume would simply be lingerie, but ended up hitting the town as Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn.
Khloe Kardashian looked almost unrecognizable in her Storm disguise.
Kourtney Kardashian, meanwhile, dressed up as a zombie bride on Halloween night.
Gigi Hadid earned a Halloween merit badge for her Cub Scout costume.
Kelly Ripa and potential co-host-to-be Jerry O’Connell took inspiration from “Suicide Squad” for their costume. “You are the baddest Joker I know,” Ripa wrote.
