Hafidz Roshdi ties the knot with Athira Yuhada

18 Dec - Hafidz Roshdi has finally confirmed his marriage to Athira Yuhada, following previous rumours that he'd be tying the knot during the weekend.

Sharing the wedding news on 16 December, Hafidz tagged Glass House Event Space in Glenmarie as the location of the wedding, and captioned the photo, "Alhamdulillah. #HafidzAthira"

Speaking to the media about the wedding, Hafidz stated that Athira was his first love and that they have known each other since they were 15.

"Praise be to God, I am thankful that Allah gave me the opportunity to be a husband again. God willing, I will take this responsibility and do it well," he said.

Meanwhile, ex-wife Nurul Shuhada expressed in another interview that she is happy that Hafidz's wish to marry Athira was finally realised and at the same time proved her previous allegations against him.

"At least, God has shown that I never lied," said Shuhada, who previously accused Hafidz of cheating on her with Athira.

The two ended their marriage in July this year, after months of conflict brought on by the cheating allegations.
