Hafidz Roshdi and Nurul Shuhada are no more

27 Jul – After months of back and forth, actor Hafidz Roshdi and estranged wife Nurul Shuhada Mat Shukri are now officially divorced.

The 29-year-old actor, who pronounced the talaq at the Shah Alam Sharia Lower Court on 27 July, stated that he is grateful that everything is over now.

"I would like to thank everybody who honoured my privacy and career. Praise be to God, I am relieved that it was resolved peacefully. I respect the judge's decision and am happy with the result of today," he said.

Meanwhile, Shuhada echoed similar sentiment, saying that she felt like a burden has now been lifted.

"I have to be strong because I no longer depend on anybody else, just to God. I want to focus on myself from now on, as well as my kids. I hope to further my studies," she added.

The former couple tied the knot in 2016 and have two children together. It was earlier this year that Shuhada accused Hafidz of cheating on her with another woman.
