Hacken Lee: TVB won't be angry at me

5 Jun – Malaysian-born actress Vivien Yeo recently admitted that she is excited to finally play a meatier role in her new TVB drama, "Eighteen Years Later".

6 Jun – Hacken Lee doesn't think TVB will get mad at him for recording the "2018 World Cup" theme for ViuTV.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who recently recorded the song, "Our Dream" alongside Alan Tam and other featured artistes, said that he only said yes to the invitation because it was made by Alan, who wanted to gather singers who really love football.

"Both Andy Hui and Edmond Leung were in the list, so I asked the boss if I could join. Usually, it's hard for artistes from different record companies to cooperate, but since it was initiated by Alan, they let me do it as an exception," he said.

Despite his unofficial status as TVB football go-to-guy and World Cup commentator for many years, Hacken Lee stated that he is not worried that the company will be angry at him for recording a song for ViuTV – Hong Kong's official television network for the big football event this year.

"I don't think TVB would mind. I think it's okay to do something for the event. It's not like we're making any big money, anyway," he added.
