Hacken Lee plans to make his directorial debut
17 Sep - Now that his 30th anniversary concert has come to an end, Hong Kong Cantopop singer Hacken Lee revealed that he will begin pursuing his dream of directing his own movie.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who directed his first music video last year for the song, "Not One Less", shared that he has previously talked about his dream project to EEG boss, Albert Yeung, who in turn expressed his support for him.
"I hope to be able to make a heartwarming romance movie. After the concerts, I will begin forming the team and participate in writing the script," he said.
However, Hacken said that he has yet to deliberate on the casting and that he will not be involved as an actor in the project.
When asked if he would ask his wife, former Miss Hong Kong Emily Lo to participate as well, he laughed and said, "No. She will not be involved in it. Fulfilling my dream as a movie director will be a gift to myself for my 50th birthday."
