Hacken Lee admits difficulties in getting work
30 Sep – After months of hiatus due to the pandemic, Hacken Lee recently made his showbiz return to perform at the charity show, Po Leung Kuk Gala Spectacular.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer who spoke to the media at the said event, stated that everybody is facing some hardship this year, including him - as he was struggling with finances due to the fact he had not been getting jobs since January.
"Before the New Year, I was offered a gig in mainland China, but I haven't done anything since January. There are indeed some difficulties when it comes to my income," he said.
However, Hacken said that every cloud has a silver lining, and that he was able to use his free time during the pandemic to record new Cantonese songs and spent time with his family.
Asked if he will continue to stay in Hong Kong and be with his family, Hacken said that the environment is changing day by day and that he has to take necessary steps for the sake of everybody.
