For going live with Ira Kazar, Nur Nilam lodges police report following death threats
5 Oct - Actress Nur Nilam recently revealed that she has lodged a police report over threats she received after she recently went live on TikTok with Syamsul Yusof's controversial new wife, Ira Kazar.
The actress, who is also wife of actor Azlan Komeng, shared the news via TikTok, saying that she went to the police with her husband on the night of 2 October.
"After my live with Ira Kazar last time, I received multiple direct messages threatening to kill me. Death threats, threats about wanting to hit me with a truck, to throw acid at me. My husband was worried about my safety, so he decided to lodge a police report," she said.
Nilam also clarified about the issue concerning Ira coming to her house, saying that the latter wanted to learn how to cook Thai food.
"After the cooking, she talked a lot with my husband about current topics, but nothing about her and her husband or her former sister wife," she said. "I didn't join them at all. My husband knows this about me. I don't like to get involved with other people's lives."
Nilam stated that she decided instead to go live on TikTok at the same time, and upon realising that Ira was at her house, her followers asked to say hi to Ira. Soon after, she said, the live was flooded with hate comments against Ira.
Nilam stated that she never expressed support for Ira as many netizens claimed, and that she even scolded Ira face to face for being the third party in Puteri Sarah Liyana's then marriage with Syamsul Yusof.
"Ira knows that I don't like what she did when she became a homewrecker. But she never was rude to me because she respects me as Azlan Komeng's wife," Nilam said, adding that Azlan knew Ira and her family even before Nilam became his wife.
Nilam said that people should ask her the actual situation, instead of speculating about her relationship with Ira and making threats against her.
