Gillian Chung returns to Instagram to wish Twins a 19th anniversary

20 May – Although she has been away from social media even before her separation with Michael Lai, Gillian Chung recently ended her Instagram hiatus to celebrate the 19th anniversary of her pop duo, Twins.

On 19 May, the singer shared several photos of the duo's music awards throughout the years, as well as a few photos including one with the words "The most potential girl duo in history!" in pink.

She wrote, "Happy 19th anniversary, Twins. Thank you, [Charlene Choi]... Without you, we will not be what we are today... I wish our love and friendship will remain the same forever."

On the other hand, Charlene shared a photo of their many albums, and wrote, "We weren't sisters by birth, but we knew from the start... fate brought us together to be sisters by heart! I'm so glad to have you in my life!"

Twins first made their debut in the summer of 2001 and had since released 12 Cantonese albums, four Mandarin albums, and several extended plays and compilations. Charlene and Gillian also had a success as actresses both together and individually, having starred in several movies together including "The Twins Effect", "The Death Curse", and "Twins Mission".
