Gigi Yim shares experience of studying Fashion on TV amid TVB conflict
3 Mar - While she has been on and off the limelight for the past few months amid the supposed conflict with TVB, Gigi Yim recently appeared on TV, though not for a small screen performance.
The 19-year-old was revealed to have filmed a promotional video for the Education Bureau to share her experience of being a student at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (aka PolyU).
Gigi, who is currently pursuing Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Fashion, revealed that she has been studying fashion design for nearly a year and that it has been inclusive and imaginative.
"I had the opportunity to study fashion design and create a work with my classmates. The interesting part is that some mistakes can lead to another work," she said.
Gigi said that she has always loved drawing designs but has never let it materialise, and that the course helped her to learn the kinds of fabrics and materials that can make the kind of shapes she wants.
Fans who saw the video were happy to know that the singer has found something to keep up the good spirit.
It is noted that Gigi studied at the St Antonius Girls' College in Kwun Tong prior to being offered a place at the PolyU, which has 10 faculties including Fashion.
