Gigi Yim laughs off rumours about being a multimillionaire
19 Sep – Gigi Yim has laughed off recent rumours that she is now a multimillionaire.
As reported on Mingpao, the 18-year-old, who attended the opening ceremony of a charity sale carnival hosted by her fan club, couldn't help but look shocked when asked to address reports saying that she earned eight figures in her two years of career and now the owner of two properties.
"Earning eight figures is equivalent to tens of millions, right? Last time, they reported that I earned five million, and now it has become tens of millions, which is amazing," she laughed.
Gigi then added, "They also said that I own two properties. Of course not."
The singer stated that her current goal is to just rehearse for her October concert.
"I tried rehearsing for six hours but I still make the wrong steps. I have to practise as much as possible to avoid too many mistakes. I am also working hard to memorise the lyrics so that I won't have to rely on the prompter," she said.
