Gigi promises electrifying performance in Kuala Lumpur

19 Oct – Indonesian band Gigi is promising to give a "naughty" performance as they return to Kuala Lumpur for an upcoming concert - a play on their hit song, "Nakal".

The four members, who will be performing in Malaysia this coming 5 November, expressed their elation to be able to meet Malaysian fans again, and believe that both the band and the audience will bring the best energy to the event after two years of pandemic.

"What we can say is that it will be a show that has a 'naughty' element but a positive one. The energy must also be greater. For example, in Indonesia, the response we received throughout the concert was extraordinary," said vocalist Armand.

Gigi will perform more than 20 songs, including "11 Januari", "Nakal", "Terbang", "Pintu Sorga", "Janji", "Jomblo", as well as songs that have never been played in Malaysia.

"These are the songs that have been performed in Indonesia but maybe listeners in Malaysia have never heard of them. This is your chance to listen live to Gigi's songs that have never been played before. Most importantly, we promise music with a more beautiful musical arrangement and different from the recording in the album," he said.

Tickets for the "Gigi: Nakal Di Kuala Lumpur" concert, which will be held on November 5 at Zepp Kuala Lumpur, are sold at prices ranging from RM180 to RM450 and can be purchased through the website www.myticket.asia .
