Gigi Leung won't release any music after "Capitulo"
2 Sep - Gigi Leung recently revealed that it will take a long time before she will release the final chapter of her 'trilogy' album.
As reported on UDN News, the singer, who signed with Universal Records in 2019, revealed during the screening of her new album on 29 August that her contract with the record label has ended – and that it has been a happy collaborative effort between the two parties.
Despite having released "Preludio" and the recently launched "Capitulo" during her time with Universal, Gigi said that the final chapter of the conceptual project will not be coming anytime soon.
"It's not easy to make a record now, and it's bad for you to release a new album this time," she said. "The third one may be released ten years later or even postponed indefinitely."
Gigi stated that she would like to take a break from music for the time being, and that after years of focusing on music and movies, she would like to make television dramas in the future instead.
