This Forthcoming Air Jordan 4 Is Drawing Comparisons to One of Travis Scott’s Rarest Sneakers
The Air Jordan 4 is already one of Jordan Brand’s most popular models, but a new colorway on the way later this year has extra reason for sneakerheads to get excited.
The Air Jordan 4 “Cave Stone” has emerged via leaked images and quickly drawn comparisons to Travis Scott‘s Air Jordan 4 “Mocha.” Although it makes use of a go-to color for his collaborations, the latter sneaker was only made for friends and family of Scott in 2017 and has sold for more than $20,000 on at least two occasions through StockX and Sotheby’s.

This Women's-Exclusive Air Jordan 4 Comes With Removable Charms
Appearing with a similarly drab look, the forthcoming edition makes use of grey rather than brown but also employs a suede upper. The namesake hue forms the majority of the upper, as well as a portion of the midsole and outsole. Black is then used for accents including the branding, eyestays, mesh windows and its own territory on the midsole, and a peak of white comes through on the midsole’s heel.
Heel branding consists of the “Nike Air” mark rather than the Jumpman, which is usually on the case for original colorways of the sneaker from 1989.
The Air Jordan 4 recently released in “Navy” for its second Nike SB collaboration, and not long before that came Nigel Sylvester’s highly regarded Air Jordan 4 “Brick by Brick.” As one of the focal points of Jordan Brand’s rotation, the Air Jordan 4 will also see its fabled Undefeated collaboration return later this year, as well as its original “White Cement” colorway.
The Air Jordan 4 “Cave Stone” will release September 6 through the Snkrs app and select third-party retailers. Full family sizing will be available, with men’s priced at $215.
