Former couple Tong Liya and Chen Sicheng collaborate on new movie
17 Dec - They may be divorced, but Tong Liya and Chen Sicheng remain great friends as they were revealed to have worked together on the new movie, "Octopus with Broken Arms".
The movie, which is the third instalment of the "Sheep without a Shepherd" franchise, stars Tong in the lead, and tells the story of a desperate father who engages in a psychological battle with the kidnappers in order to save his daughter who has been taken.
However, Chen is not starring in the movie alongside his ex-wife, but serves as the producer of the film.
It is noted that the couple, who ended their marriage in 2021 after eight years of marriage, have always been cordial to one another following their divorce.
The two would sometimes go on family outings together for the sake of their son Duoduo, and even wish each other happy birthday on social media.
Meanwhile, "Octopus with Broken Arms", which is set to be released on 31 December, also stars Xiao Yang and Duan Yihong.
