Florence Chan slams reports about Patrick Tse's illness

15 Feb - Talent manager Florence Chan recently expressed fury over rumours regarding good friend Patrick Tse's health.

As reported on Mingpao, mainland news outlets recently claimed that the 87-year-old veteran actor was "paralysed and was rushed to the Emergency" on the second day of the Lunar New Year.

In response to the rumours, Florence, who was also the manager of Leslie Cheung, posted a photo of her with Patrick on Weibo to refute said rumours.

She wrote, "I didn't plan to post this photo, but I suddenly saw false news and felt very angry. To curse an old man like this on the Lunar New Year is really vicious. What is the intention?"

"I am sharing this photo with [Patrick] this afternoon to reassure everyone!" she added.

Seen in the photo alongside Florence and Patrick is the actor's ex-wife Deborah.
