The First Footage of 'Crazy Rich Asians' Is Here

Any movie stuffed full of gorgeous sets, outrageous fashion, and beautiful people is a win-Crazy Rich Asians is going to be all that and more. Now, there's finally footage of the film.

Actress Constance Wu, who plays protagonist Rachel Chu, also shared the teaser on Twitter.

The teaser for the film's official trailer, which will come out on Monday, features Rachel watching as her boyfriend, uber-wealthy Singaporean Nick Young, emerges from a giant white mansion. Apparently, Rachel had no idea her boyfriend was so fancy. "You really should have told me that you're, like, the Prince William of Asia," she says. "That's ridiculous. I'm much more of a Harry," he says. Sold!

Michelle Yeoh, Awkwafina, Ken Jeong, Shadowhunters' Harry Shum, and The Daily Show's Ronnie Chieng also star. The film, based on the bestselling novel by Kevin Kwan, comes out on August 17.
