Fenty Beauty’s gloss bomb cream is the perfect product for those who love a lip gloss that doesn’t feel sticky.

The brand recently had a Fenty Beauty Holla' Fame Party last week at Jigger & Pony to celebrate its gloss bomb cream, a line-up of pigmented glosses amongst other stellar beauty products. While the brand’s popular lip luminizer delivers high shine, the cream has a more matte finish. The gloss bomb cream is also available in more nude hues.

Read on for my thoughts on the lip cream:

First, the gloss is creamy and feels slightly thicker than the lip luminizer. However, this isn’t a bad thing. My lips felt incredibly soft and hydrated, thanks to vitamin A in its formula.

Now, the real test would be the colour payoff. To my surprise, the colour showed so well on my brown skin. The best part? It’s completely buildable. You can wear it with a lip liner for a sheered-down effect or pack it on for full-colour saturation.

I purchase “Cookie Jar,” a colour that’s described as a chocolate caramel. It’s a beautiful color for melanin-rich skin tones. I really want to try “Honey Waffles” next. If you’re a nudes kind of person, “Fenty Glow” or “Mauve Wive$” should be your must-try shades.

Overall, I love this product and think it’s a great option for people who want just a bit of colour without committing to a lipstick. Fenty for the win again!
