Feng Ke clarifies allegations made by Jane Zhang's mother
11 Oct - Show City Times CEO Feng Ke has recently addressed allegations made by his fiancée Jane Zhang's mother, following the latter's open letter about his supposed behaviour and intention towards her daughter.
As reported on Foreign Affairs, Feng, who spoke to the media on 9 October, responded to Mrs Zhang's claim that she was not informed of her daughter's upcoming wedding in Italy, saying that they have yet to announce the official date, and that the news was leaked by the media.
"I want to apologise to her for involving her in this tabloid stuff. We had communicated with her about the wedding and Jane would like to take more time and sincerity to gain her blessings," he said.
As for issues regarding the shares of his company, whereby Mrs. Zhang claimed that Feng had suspiciously take control of the company's stake, Feng stated that Show City Times will eventually be Jane's as well after marriage.
"I have also made a will that if I was to die in an unexpected circumstance, Jane will inherit all my estate," he said.
As to allegations that he lied to Jane about his marital status in the past, Feng said that he was in the midst of divorce proceedings when he began dating her. Although Jane left him at first because of it, they later reconciled.
