Fei congratulates Jia for winning a place in new girl group
9 Sep – Although she failed to make it as one of the seven members of the new girl group produced by the variety show, "Sisters Who Make Waves", former idol Fei is still happy that her fellow K-pop pal Meng Jia succeeded in being a part of the group.
As reported on Sina, Fei, who used to be in the same South Korean girl group Miss A with Jia, posted a message on social media to encourage the latter to continue to work hard with the new group.
"I will work hard, and so will you. This is a promise! We rehearsed all night, mutually supported each other, exploded on stage, shared our stories, and cried like fools. I enjoyed every moment, and love every single one of my sisters," she wrote.
Fei added that while not all of them were able to make it to the end, she still enjoyed the experience of being part of the show with the other ladies.
"I need to become stronger! We are priceless. All the sisters, all the girls, all the mothers, you are also priceless!" she added.
Jia had since reposted Fei's post, and wrote, "I am destined to be inseparable from you in this lifetime. I am destined to be in a group with you forever in this lifetime. I love you!"
On the other hand, many netizens were surprised over Fei's loss, with the hashtag "Wang Feifei not part of the group" trending on Weibo since the show announced its seven members.
