Fearne Cotton shares vintage throwbacks of lookalike mum on her wedding day
Fearne Cotton has shared some sweet throwback photographs of her look-alike mum on her wedding day.
Fearne took to instagram with three photographs of her "Ma and Pa" to mark their anniversary, as they celebrated 46 years of marriage to one another.
In the first of the vintage snaps, her mum and dad stand side by side in front of a mirror. Her dad wears a black suit jacket and velvet bow tie over a striped shirt, while mum is chic in a trouser suit with button detailing, worn with a long cross necklace.
In a caption alongside the image, Fearne said that her "Mum still holds the award for best wedding trouser suit of all time."
In another photo the couple stand smiling, surrounded by loved ones on their wedding day. The third is a close-up of her mum in the wedding car holding a bouquet of flowers, revealing puff sleeve detailing on each shoulder of the jacket. The resemblance between Fearne and her mum is clear in the photos.
The star sent her best wishes to her parents in the post, writing, "Happy anniversary Ma and Pa. 46 years of marriage."
Followers and famous friends left their own wishes and comments on the post, including Jo Wood who said, "That is so cute .. they look fabulous.. happy anniversary to Lin and Mick."
Sophie Ellis-Bextor was in agreement with Fearne about her mum's chic suit and commented saying, "So stylish!" with a heart emoji.
Last week, Fearne shared a snap of her latest hair transformation, revealing a blunt fringe and long bob style cut which she said was inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer's character in Scarface, as well as Suki Waterhouse.
