Fans honour Kathy Chow's memory on first anniversary of her passing
13 Dec - Fans have flocked to Kathy Chow Hoi Mei's final resting place to mourn their loss on the first anniversary of her passing.
On 11 December, many of her fans went to the Tian Shou Yuan Cemetery in Beijing to leave bouquets of mostly yellow roses there, forming a sea of flowers with notes that include messages like, "I miss Kathy!" and "I will deeply miss you always!"
Meanwhile, Kathy's studio also posted emotional words on the same day on Weibo, which read, "The string of longing has been stretched very long... Sister, I will always be waiting for you in the long river of time, and meet you in every memory."
Kathy passed away from a sudden heart attack back in December 2023 at the age of 57. The family then decided to lay her to rest in Beijing where she had been living for 21 years.
Meanwhile, it was revealed that actress Li Qinqin has now taken care of one of Kathy's beloved pet dogs, Dundun.
