F.I.R.'s Lydia admits being bullied for joining the group

22 Apr – F.I.R.'s new lead singer Lydia recently admitted that she had it rough being the replacement for the band's original lead, Faye, whose previous departure was less than cordial.

As reported on Epoch Times, the 22-year-old singer, who appeared alongside members Ian Chen and Real Huang to promote their new music video, stated that she had been attacked online since she joined F.I.R., which prompted her decision to take a break from social media.

"A friend of mine was even attacked by netizens after congratulating me for joining F.I.R," she said.

Lydia admitted that she was also repeatedly compared to Faye, and was worried that it would affect her family.

"But now I realise that I could rely on my family to support me," she said.

On the other hand, Ian stressed that there is no bad blood between the group and Faye.

"Although we are not deliberately in contact with each other, we met during the New Year and wish each other well," he said, adding that Faye also expressed support for Lydia.
