An on-screen kiss led Rebel to Ramona
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in December 2022, Rebel revealed that her on-screen kiss with Charlotte Gainsbourg in The Almond and The Seahorse is what led her to Ramona.
"If I hadn't had the experience with Charlotte, I don't know if I would have ever met [Ramona]," she shared. "Having [that experience] opened my heart up to it as a possibility. It changed my love life completely."
Ramona is a fashion designer and entrepreneur
Ramona is not only the founder and designer behind the sustainable clothing brand Lemon Limon—she also founded her jewelry brand, DeLys Joaillerie, and became its creative director.
In 2023, Ramona and Rebel joined forces and founded their cozy clothing brand, R and R Club (which is shoppable via Lemon Limon's site, FYI).
They met on the phone before taking their romance to real life
While she didn't disclose who her partner was at the time, Rebel told People in May 2022 that they had been set up "through a friend" and met on the phone.
"We spoke on the phone for weeks before meeting. And that was a really good way to get to know each other," she said. "It was a bit old-school in that sense — very romantic."
"I think going through the process of finding more self-worth, I think that what you want in a partner is elevated and so it's great to have someone who feels like an equal partner and be in a healthy relationship," she added. "There were times — I'm not saying with all my exes, they're great — but there were some times that I was probably putting up with that I shouldn't have. So it feels different to be in a really healthy relationship."

Rebel seemingly came out when she hard launched her 'ship with Ramona in June 2022. "I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess 💗🌈💗#loveislove," she wrote.
While Rebel hasn't clarified how she exactly identifies within the LGBTQ+ community, she clarified to People that she "never thought she was 100 percent straight." She explained, "I don't quite know how to define my sexuality, but I do know there's a lot of people out there that don't want to totally define it either."
Ramona is helping Rebel raise her daughter
Rebel welcomed her daughter, Royce Lillian, via surrogate in November 2022. Per People, Ramona threw Rebel a baby shower in LA. "It was the most gorgeous baby shower with friends from around the world," Rebel told the outlet, calling Ramona "so amazing and such a great partner."
During an interview on The Morning Show, Ramona opened up about how Royce ultimately became her biggest priority. "When you think, 'Aw, I wish I would go have a massage,' or something, instead you're like, 'No, I just want to spend time with her and be at home,'" Ramona said. "It's been amazing, it's truly life-changing, but in a good way."

Rebel and Ramona are also red carpet official. They hit up the iconic Vanity Fair Oscars after-party once their engagement went public and have since attended high-profile events like the amFAR Gala in Cannes.
