Ethan Ruan doesn't think too much about nomination

27 Oct - Although this is his second Best Actor nomination at the Golden Horse Awards, Ethan Ruan recently stated that he does not dwell too much about it.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared in Hong Kong to promote "The Pig, the Snake and the Pigeon", of which he was nominated for, stated that he is actually most excited about working with actors Ben Yuen and Gingle Wang.

"The emotions of nervousness, excitement and happiness were all experienced during the filming of the movie. The nomination meant that my partners and I did well. Filmmaking is never about one person," he said.

"Without them, I wouldn't be able to do anything myself."

Meanwhile, the film itself is nominated in seven categories including Best Director, Best Action Choreography, and Best Original Film Score.
