HGTV stars Ben and Erin Napier let us in on a little secret! They recently appeared on The Tamron Hall Show and shared with the audience that they had gotten their 7-year-old daughter, Helen, her very own truck. That’s right—not a toy truck, but an actual car!
“That’s Helen’s first car. Yeah, she’s spoiled rotten, isn’t she? I’m just spoiling her left and right, I know, but we’re going to rebuild it," shared the Napiers' on talk show.
On the show, they explained that they purchased a 1948 Chevy 3100 Old Navy Truck, which Ben plans to restore with Helen over the years until her sweet sixteen.
This all tracks, considering Ben Napier is a huge fan of vintage cars. He has a collection of classic trucks worth around half a million dollars. His collection even includes the Jeep that the Pearson family drove in the acclaimed TV series This Is Us. The couple was able to acquire the Jeep after the show concluded in 2022, thanks to their close connection with actor Chris Sullivan, who starred in the series. Now, the car is fondly loved by the family and was even nicknamed "Jack."
It seems like they’re hoping to pass down their love for vintage cars to their daughters—what better way to start than at a young age?
