Eric Tsang wants Alan Tam to play a guest role
21 Jun – Eric Tsang recently revealed that he has intentions to invite good friend, Alan Tam to guest star in his debut TVB production, "Aerobic Girls".
According to TVB News World, while speaking to the media at a press conference for the new series that was held on 19 June at TVB City Eric said, "I am planning to invite Alan to play an idol from the 80s, but I haven't mentioned this to Alan yet. I will leave it to our boss, Charles Chan to make the decision."
When asked if Alan Tam's son, Tam Hui Fung will also be invited to portray Alan's younger self, Eric laughed, "Don't pressurise me!"
Meanwhile, at the press conference, it was revealed that actress Carman Lee and Loletta Lee (also known as Rachel Lee) will have the majority screen time, while other stars in their 40s that will be playing a role in the series include Gloria Yip, Fennie Yuen, Flora Chan, Angie Cheong and Elvina Kong.
Meanwhile, the younger version of these characters will be played by Kandy Wong, Cheronna Ng, Wikie Lai, Anjaylia Chan, Jeannie Chan, Annice Ng and Venus Wong.
The 30-episode "Aerobic Girls" is an adaptation of the Korean film, "Sunny" (2011), that tells the story about seven good friends who are reunited after many years, while reminiscing about their past.
