Eric Chou is now engaged to be married

12 Oct – Taiwanese singer-songwriter Eric Chou recently announced that he is now engaged to be married.

On 10 October, the singer shared the good news on Instagram with a photo of him and girlfriend, former news anchor Dacie Chao, who is six years his senior.

"Forever and ever," he wrote in the caption.

The news was confirmed by Eric's manager, who shared that Eric popped the question on the balcony while the two were on a holiday in Europe.

"Since both of them still want to work hard in their careers, they decided to get engaged first. The marriage and wedding will be decided later. It will not be held this year," the manager said.

The two had previously dated, but broke up in October 2020. However, they rekindled their romance in June last year.

Eric had broken up with Dacie previously but they reconciled
