Eric Chou elated to work with Vincent Fang

11 Jun - Eric Chou is elated to be able to collaborate with renowned lyricist Vincent Fang for his new single, "Youth" (or "Youth Should be Written in a Few Lines of Poetry").

The singer, who spoke about the cooperation with Vincent, who is most known for his frequent collaboration with Jay Chou, stated that it was a great honour for him to be able to work with the said wordsmith.

"I have listened to many of his works in the past. He is a master of his craft. This time, I worked with him on a Chinese-style song. I think his lyrics are very vivid and profound," he said.

Eric also stated that he was deeply moved after reading the lyrics, and that he hopes his fans will feel the same way too when they listen to the song.

Singing the song for the first time at his show in Suzhou, the singer said, "I am really excited because this is the most direct and fastest way to share music. It made my heart beat faster. I was very happy to share the new song with my fans face to face. It was really a rare experience!"

It is noted that the new song is also the theme song to the Taiwanese drama, "Follow Your Heart".
