Elvina Kong denies paying ex-husband's debts
14 May – Hong Kong actress Elvina Kong has recently dismissed ongoing rumours that she had to return to showbiz to pay off her ex-husband Jackson Ng's gambling debts.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at a promotional event for TVB drama, "Daddy Cool" recently, stated that unlike what the media have reported about her ex-husband, he has always been a good person.
"We do still protect each other even if we have been divorced for many years now," she said.
When mentioned that Jackson was recently photographed with a woman on the street, Elvina said that she has no issue with him moving on with his life.
"This is good, life should be wonderful," she said.
As for herself, Elvina said that she is not yet ready to enter into another marriage even though she has been divorced for five years.
"I want to live a free life for a while. Moreover, I rarely have free time. I am in no hurry to get married again," she added.
