Elly Mazlein is done playing nice
1 Oct - Elly Mazlein recently stressed that she wouldn't have exploded on social media against comedienne Jihan Muse if not for the latter's joke on her expense during a recent live show.
The singer-turned-TV host recently took to social media to share a clip from a singing competition of which Jihan made a joke about her co-host Haziq acting like that "one female host" after the latter lightheartedly continued to sing and dance.
Those who saw the clip knew that Jihan was referring to Elly's alter ego Kak Lina Pom Pom, whose running gag on stage involves her singing and dancing nonstop.
In another IG Story post, Elly wrote "I don't care if my running gag is singing on repeat if that can entertain people, rather than making the same joke over and over, mocking people's names, throwing shades and repeating the same gag about 'Chipsmore mole' from the first season."
When asked about her direct attack against Jihan, Elly said that she was never the kind of person who cares about other people's affairs, that is until the same person kept mentioning her.
"I do wonder what's so great about me that it's so hard for her to just erase from her mind. I will continue to be number one no matter the mockery," she added.
Elly said that she is done being nice, and that she will not mince words now if people continue to use her as a butt of a joke.
