Elliot Ngok's changed appearance worries fans
29 Aug - Veteran actor Elliot Ngok (Ngok Wah) has recently sparked rumours of deteriorating health, after he appeared looking much changed from his original self two years after his last TV project.
As reported on Mingpao, concerns about Elliot sparked back in April this year, when fellow actress Helen Ma took to social media to share that she is worried as the actor has been unreachable since wrapping up his last drama, "Captain of Destiny". She also wished him a good health, sparking rumours that the actor might be ill.
Helen had since explained her online post, saying that she was just responding to fans who were asking her about him.
Another rumour has also emerged that the actor is suffering from diabetes.
Amid speculations about his absence, Elliot recently appeared at a press conference held in Vancouver. The actor, who was wearing a blue jacket and held on to a walking stick, seemed much thinner than his last appearance but otherwise fine.
When asked about Elliot's situation, good friend Bowie Wu shared, "I haven't been in contact with Elliot for a long time, but I heard from a friend that his health is not that good. It really pains me to hear that."
Bowie said that it is important that Elliot gets a good rest, which is why it is best if nobody should disturb him.
