Ellen Adarna clarifies recent outing with John Lloyd Cruz
14 Aug - Actress Ellen Adarna has recently clarified rumours that she is dating John Lloyd Cruz, following reports that they have been seen together outside of work.
As reported on PEP, the actress, who spoke to the media at a launching event in Makati City recently, denied that there is anything between her and Cruz, and that the two of them were only going out for a drink after wrapping up the taping their sitcom, "Home Sweetie Home".
"We were together on "Home Sweetie Home". We taped the show and after that we went for drink. We went out because the taping ended early," she said.
Adarna said that they were not the only two people who went out that day, as some of the production staff were also with them.
Rumours of romance between the two sparked as early as March this year, when Cruz was spotted in photos taken by Adarna during her trip to Ilocos Norte.
When asked if she sees Cruz as a potential boyfriend since both of them are currently single, Adarna responded, "Yes, but I am not ready for that. There's too much drama in my life!"
