Eleanor Lee to be the next Little Dragon Girl

30 Mar – It was revealed that China-based Singaporean actress Eleanor Lee has been chosen to play the coveted role of Xiaolongnu (Little Dragon Girl) for the upcoming new adaptation of Jin Yong's "Return of the Condor Heroes".

As reported on ET Today, a mainland studio, which previously announced a global casting to find the perfect cast for the upcoming TV series, reportedly has found their Xiaolongnu in the likes of the 18-year-old actress, who is the daughter of Singapore celebrity couple, Peter Yu and Quan Yi Fong.

It was also revealed that the upcoming adaptation will be different from the other eight adaptations before it, as it will be told from the perspectives of Guo Xiang - the teenage daughter of Guo Jing and Huang Rong who also idolises Yang Guo.

Despite her young age, Eleanor has already made a name for herself, starring in projects such as "Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy" and "The Big Boss". She has also been cast in the upcoming Chinese fantasy drama, "My Poseidon" alongside Zhang Yunlong.

Other actresses who have played the role of Xiaolongnu include Idy Chan, Crystal Liu, Carman Lee, and Michelle Chen.
