Elaine Yiu not in a rush to date again

6 Feb – After her failed romance with businessmen Cheng Tsz Bong and Raymond Young, Elaine Yiu admitted that she is not in a rush to look for her other half anymore.

In an interview with Mingpao, the 40-year-old actress stated that wanting to be in a relationship is not enough reason to go into it, and that she would rather live her life in the moment.

"You should do whatever you want to do and not be tied to your age. No matter if you are 20, 40, or 60, you can have a night out with your friends and just be happy," she said.

As for romance, Elaine said that she will go with the flow rather than make the extra effort to find the one.

"We have to see eye to eye, and you will only know if it fits after knowing each other better. The other party also has to understand my career," she said.

Asked if she has any plans to have her own baby, the actress stated that she is opened to the idea of freezing her eggs, though admitted that she has yet to prepare her body for such procedure.
