Elaine Jin hopes to win again at HKFA
29 Mar> - Hong Kong actress Elaine Jin is not one to shy away from admitting that she wants to win when it comes to being nominated for awards.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who has won Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Mad World" at the Golden Horse Awards previously, shared that she is hoping to win it again at the upcoming Hong Kong Film Awards so that she could have a double victory.
"For every movie, no matter how big or small the role is, I would perform it with all my heart. After each movie, my goal is to be nominated, and with each and every nomination, I hope to win," she confessed.
When mentioned that she had won HKFA Best Supporting Actress last year for her role in "Port of Call", Elaine said that she hopes to win it again with "Mad World" so that she could win two Best Supporting Actress awards for the same movie.
"Of course, I want to win it, but I wouldn't dare to think too much about it," she added.
Elaine will face competition from Kitty Zhang ("The Mermaid"), Janice man ("Cold War 2"), Fish Liew ("Sisterhood"), and her own "Mad World" co-star, Charmaine Fong.
